HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976- 4 Imposing Zoning Districts on the Lionsridge AreaR 7-,. .. ~ {1~ l ORDINANCE N0. 4-76 AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING ZONING DISTRICTS ON THE LIONSRIDGE AREA ANNEXED TO THE TOWN AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP t '< WHEREAS, the Town of Vail, Colorado, hereinafter. referred to as the "Town", annexed the Lionsridge area, County of Eagle, State of Colorado, effective on the 16th day of December, 1975; WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 8, Series of 1973, of the Town of Vail, Colorado, as amended, is applicable to any area annexed to the Town and contains procedures for the imposition of zoning districts on an annexed area; and WHEREAS, Section 31-8-11,5{2), Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, as amended., requires the Town to bring the annexed Lionsridge area under its Zoning Ordinance within ninety days after the effective date of the annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOW1V COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Title. This ordinance shall be known as the "Ordinance Imposing Zoning Districts on Annexed Lionsridge Area". Section 2. Procedures Fulfilled. The procedures for the determination of the zoning districts to be imposed on the annexed Lionsridge area which are prescribed in .Section 22.300 of the Zoning Ordinance have been fu1fi11ed. Section 3. Imposition of Zoning Districts on Annexed Lionsridge Area; Addition to Official Zoning Map. ~- Pursuant to Article 22 of the Zoning Ordinance, Ordi- nonce No. 8, Series of 1973, of the Town of Vail, Colorado, r Town ~lerk ' ~~ _ Ord. ~, 1975 ~: ! Page 2 ~ as amended, the Lionsridge area annexed to the Town through the enactment of Ordinance No. ~~, Series of 1975, of the Town of Vail, Colorado, effective on the 16th day of December, 1975, is hereby divided into zoning districts as shown on a map incorporated herein by reference which amends and shall become an addition to the Official Zoning Map. Section 4. Change in Official Zoning Map. The addition to the Official Zoning Map adopted by the Town Council in Section 3 hereof shall be entered on the Official Zoning Map promptly by the Zoning Administrator in accordance with Section 1.203 of the Toning Ordinance. Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect five, da~~s after publication following the final passage hereof. INTRODUCED, BRAD ON FIRST READING, APPROVED, AP1D ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE TN FULL, this 10th da_y of February, 1975, and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Vail, Colorado, on the 2nd day of March, 1976, at 7:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building of the Town.
