AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOT 16, BIGHORN
SECOND ADDITION FROM TWO FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO AGRICULTURAL; LOTS
11, 12, AND l3, BLOCK 4 AND LOTS 1 AND
2, BLOCK 6, BIGHORN THIRD ADDITION FROM
TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL; AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP IN RELATION THERETO
WHEREAS, on the Official Zoning Map of the Town of
Vaal, Colorado, Lot 16, Bighorn Second Addition and Lots 11,
l2, and l3, Block 4 and Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Bighorn Third
Addition are currently zoned as Two Family Residential;
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 21.500 of the
Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Vail, applications for rezoning
of said properties have been filed by the owners thereof,
requesting that said lots be rezoned to Agricultural and Single
Family Residential zones;
WHEREAS, the Planning ~.'~iiuulssion of the Town of
Vail has considered the same and recommended approval of said
applications to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council considers that it is in
the public interest to rezone said properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TO?~1N COUNCIL
OF THE TOWI~T OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
(1) The Council specifically finds that the prace-
dures for the amendment of the Official Zoning Map and rezoning
of properties within the Town of Vail as prescribed in Section
21.500 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Vail, have been
fulfilled, and the Council hexeby receives the report and
recommendation of the Planning Comr!rnission recommending the
approval of the applications for rezoning of the above specified
properties.

(2) Pursuant to Section 21.506 of the Zoning
Ordinance, the following described property is hereby rezoned
from Two Family Residential to Agricultural:
Lot 16, Bighorn Second Addition
(3) Pursuant to Section 21.506 of the Zoning
Ordinance, the following described properties are hereby
rezoned from Two Family Residential to Single Family Residential:
Lots 11, 12, and 13, Block 4;
Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Bighorn Third
Addition
(4) As provided in Section 1,203 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of Vail, the Zoning Administrator is
hereby directed promptly to modify, and amend the Official
Zoning Map to indicate the rezonine~ specified in Sections (2)
and (3) above.
INTRODUCED, READ ON FIRST READING, APPROVED, AND
ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE TFd FULL THIS 18th day of January, 1977,
and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the
regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Vail,
Colorado, on the 1st day~of February, 1977, at 7:30 P.M., in
the Municipal Building of the Town of Vail.
