AN ORDINANCE REZONING
IN THE NW4 OF SECTION
AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS
FROM EAGLE COUNTY ZON
OF VAIL ZONE DISTRICT
A PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED
9, T5S, R80W OF THE 6th P.M.
THE NORTH PULIS PROPERTY,
E DISTRICT "RESOURCE" TO TOWN
"PUBLIC USE",
WHEREAS, the North Pulis Property has recently been annexed
to the Town of Vail and was zoned by Eagle County as "Resource";
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 18.66.110 of the Vail
Municipal Code, a rezoning has been initiated by the Town to rezone
the North Pulis Property to "Public Use";
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Town of Vail has con-
sidered the same and recommended approval of said rezoning to the Town
Council; and ";~
WHEREA5, the Town Council considers that it is in the public
interest to rezone said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF VAIL, THAT:
(1) The Council specifically finds that the procedures for
the amendment of the Official Zoning Map and rezoning of properties with-
in the Town of Vail as prescribed in Section 18.66.110 of the Vail Muni-
cipal Code have been fulfilled, and the Council hereby receives the
report and recommendation of the Flannin.g Commission recommending the
approval of the rezoning of the subject property.
(2~ Pursuant to Section 1.$.66.160 of the Vail Municipal
Code, the following described parcel is rezoned from Eagle County -
"Resource" to Town of Vail "Public Use":
A Parcel of Land in Eagle County, Colorado,..
further described as:
Located within the NW~a of Section 9, Township 5,
South, Range 80 West of the 6th P.M., according
to the Survey of said Township and Range as
approved by the U.S. Surveyor General in Denver,
Colorado, on April 12, 1892; to wit:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Section
9, thence 589°31'49°' E 2333.84 feet, along the
North line of said Section 9, to a point on the
northerly right of way fence Line of Interstate
Highway No, 70; thence along the northerly right
of way fenceline of Interstate Highway No. 70
as follows:
S 67°41'33" W 415.82 feet; thence S 78°13'02" Ta
1534.29 feet, to a paint of curvature; thence
456.43 feet on a curve to the right with a radius
of 55$0.00 feet, the chord of which bears S 80°
33'38" W 456.30 feet to a point on the Westerly
line of said Section 9;
thence departing the northerly right of way fence-
iine of Interstate Highway No. 70 and following
the Westerly line of said Section 9 N 00°18'22" E
5&5.11 feet to the point of beginning.
Said parcel of land contains 17.322 acres, more
or less..
(3) As provided in Section 18.08.030 of the Vail Municipal
Code, the Zoning Administrator is hexeby directed to promptly modify
and amend the Official Zoning Map to indicate the rezoning specified
in paragraph (2} above.

PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL this 6th day of December, 1977, and a public hear-
ing on this ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Vail, Colorado, on the 20th~day of December, 1977,
at 7:30 P.M., in the Municipal Building of the Town. r
