AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOT I, VAIL
VILLAGE SECOND FILING, FROM HIGH
DENSITY MULTIPLE FAMILyTO
AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP IN RELATION THERETO

WHEREAS, on the Official Zoning Map of the Town of Vail,
Colorado, Lot I, Vail Village Second Filing, is currently zoned
as High Density Multiple Family;
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 18.66.110 of the
Vail Municipal Code, the Town Council initiated the rezoning of Lot
I, Vail Village Second Filing;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Town of Vail has
considered the same and recommended that the zoning not be changed; and,
WHEREAS, after Notice and Public Hearing required by Section
18.55.150 the Town Council considers that it is in the public interest
to rezone said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
(1) The Council specifically finds that the procedures
for the amendments of the Official Zoning Map and rezoning of properties
within the Town of Vail as prescribed in Chapter 18.66 of the Vail
Municipal Code have been fulfilled, and the Council hereby recieves the
report and recommendations of the Planning and Environmental Commission
concerning the rezoning of the above specified properties.
(2) Pursuant to Section 18.66.160 of the Vail Municipal Code,
the Lot I, Vail Village Second Filing is hereby rezoned from High Density
Multiple Family (LDMF) to
(3) As provided in Section 18.08.030 of the Vail Municipal
Code, the Zoning Administrator is hereby directed to promptly modi~~y

and amend the Official Zoning Map to indicate the rezoning specified
in Paragraph (2) above.
(4) This ordinance shall be a ratification of actions
previously taken by the Town Council.
INTRODUCED, READ ON FIRST READING, APPROVED, AND ORDERED
PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL, this 20th day of March, 1979, and a public
hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of
~ the Town Council of the Town of Vail, Colorado, on the 3rd day of April,
1979, at 7:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building of the Town.
