Whr;xrAS, the Town of Vail Colorado, hereinafter referred to
as the "Town", annexed the El.m~re Parcels, property located in the W
of Section 12, TSS, R 81W of the 6th P.M., County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
effective on the 13th day of September 1978.
Wh~xrA.S, Chapter 18.68 of the Vail Municipal Code of the Town
of Vail, Colorado, is applicable to any area annexed to the Tam and
contains procedures for the imposition of zoning districts on an annexed
area;
WHEREAS, Section 31-8-115(2), Colorado Revised Statutes 1973,
as amended, requires the Town to bring the annexed area under its Zoning
Ordinance within ninety days after the effective date of annexation;
~S, the applicant on November 21, 1978 requested that
Zoning Consideration on Parcels A and C be tabled for 60 days; and
WHEREAS, the 60 Day period has expired;

OF VAIL, COT.,ORADO, AS FOLL~In1S:
Section 1. Title
This ordinance shall be ]fliown as the "Ordinance In~posing Zoning
Districts on Parcels A and C of the Annexed El~~.~~e Parcels."
Section 2. Procedures Fulfilled
The procedures for the determination of the zoning districts to
be imposed on Parcels A and C of the EL~~~~ Parcels which are prescribed
in Chapter 18.68 of the Vail Municipal Code have been fulfilled.
Section 3. Imposition of Zoning Districts on Parcels A and C of
the EL~~~e Parcels; Addition to Official Zoning Map.

Pursuant to Chapter 18.68 of the Vail Municipal Code, Parcels A & C
of the Elirore Parcels annexed to the Town through the enactment of Ordinance
No. 26, Series of 1978, of the Town of Vail, Colorado, effective on the 13th
day of Sept~r~ 1978, are divided into Zc¢~ing Districts as follows:
Parcel A-Residential Cluster (RC) following the Special Devel~.~«~t
District Procedures with up to an additional three (3) units per buildable
acre for Long Term low or moderately priced residential housing with 750
square feet of additional Gross Residential Floor Area (GRFA) given for
each Long Term low or moderately priced Res~~Pntial Unit submtted in the
Develv~~«~t Plan with the condition that the Long Z~~« Low or Nbderately
priced Residential Housing units, if desired, shall be submitted. with the
initial Devel~M~~..~t Plan and if not submitted at that time, the option
for the additional units will be deemed waived.
Parcel C- Greenbelt and Natural Open Space (GNOS) With a transfer
' to Parcel A of density allowed for the Buildable acreage according to the same
zoning as Parcel A.
Section 4. Change in Official Zoning Map.
The addition to the Official Zoning Map adopted by the Town Council
in Section 3 hereof shall be entered on the Official Zoning Map N~~~~~,Lly by
the Zoning Administrator in accordance with Chapter 18.08 of the Vail Municipal
Code.
Section 5. Effective date.
This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after publication
following the final passage hereof.
INTRODUCID, READ ON FIRST READING, APPROVID, ORDERID PUHLISHID
QVCE IN FULL, this 30th day of October, 1979, and a public hearing on
this ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Vail, Colorado, on the 20th day of Nov~ruer, 1979, at 7:30
P.M. in the Municipal Building of the Town.
