AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP OF THE TdWN OF VAIL AND PLACING TWO
TOtiVN-OSt~NED PROPERTIES IN THE PUBLIC USE
DISTRICT AND AGRICULTURAL AND OPEN SPACE
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Town Council is o£ the opinion that the properties
mentioned herein, owned by the Town are not now appropriately zoned and that
it would be in the interest and far the benofit o£ the inhabitants of the Town
of Vail if they were rezoned as hereinafter set forth; and
l~f~EREAS, the Planning and Environmental Commission of the Town
has recommended such rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1.
The official Zoning Map of the Town of Vail is hereby amended as set forth
below.

Section 2.
I£ any part, section, sub-section, sentence, clause or phrase or this
ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decisions shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance; and the Town Council
hereby declass it would have passed this ordinance, and each part, section,
sub-section, sentence, clause or phrase thereof, reg~~rciless of the tact that
.any one or more parts, sections, sub-sections, sentences, clauses or phrases
by declared invalid,

Section 3,
The Town Council hereby finds, determines and declares that ti~is ordinance
is necessary and proper for the health, safety and welfare of the 'lbwn of Vail
and t}te inhabitants thereof .
Section 4.
The repeal or the repeal and re-enactment of any provision of the Vail
Municipal Code as provided in this ordinance shall not affect any -right which
has accrued, any duty imposed, any violation that occurred prior to the effective
date hereof, any prosecution commended, nor any other action ox proceeding
has commenced under or by virture of the provisions repealed or repealed and
re-enacted. The repeal of any provision hereby shall not revive any provision
or any ordinance previously repealed or superseded unless cxpressiy stated
herein .
