` Series of 2000
• AN ORDINANCE MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL
APPROPRIATIONS AND BUDGET
ADJUSTMENTS FROM THE TOWN OF VAIL
PARKING FUND, HOUSING FUND, FACILITY
MAINTENANCE FUND, GENERAL FUND, AND
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, OF THE 2000
BUDGET AND THE FINANCIAL PLAN FOR
THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO; AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURES OF
SAID APPROPRIATIONS AS SET FORTH
HEREIN; AND SETTING FORTH DETAILS
IN REGARD THERETO.
WHEREAS, contingencies have arisen dur-
ing the fiscal year 2000 which could not have
been reasonably foreseen or anticipated by the
Town Council at_the time it enacted Ordinance

do; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has certified
to the Town Council that sufficient funds are
available to discharge the appropriations referred
to herein, not otherwise reflected in the Budget,
in accordance with Sec[ion 9.10(a) of the Charter
of the Town of Vail; and,
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the fore-
going, the Town Council finds that it should make
certain supplemental appropriations and budget
adjustments as set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT ORDAINED, BY
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF VAIL,
COLORADO that:
SECTION 1.
Pursuant to Section 9.10(a) of the Charter of
the Town of Vail, Colorado, the Town Council
hereby makes the following supplemental appro-
priations and budget adjustments for the 2000
Budget arid Financial Plan for the Town of Vail.
Colorado, and authorizes the expenditure of said
appropriations as follows:

Capital Projects Fund 2,190,625
Housing Fund (2,413,815)
Parking Fund (2,885,491)
Facility Maintenance Fund (2,089,108) -
Total ($3,659,984)
SECTION 2. ~ -
If any part, section, subsection, sentence. '
clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any rea-
son held to be invalid, such decision shall not af- ~ ~ ~ ~ -
fect the validity of the remaining portions of this
ordinance; and the Town Council hereby de-
clares it would have passed this ordinance, and
each part, section, subsection, sentence, clause
or phrase thereof, regardless of the fact that any
one or more parts, sections, subsections, senten-
ces, clauses or phrases be declared invalid.
SECTION 3.
The Town Council hereby finds, determines,
and declares that this ordinance is necessary and
proper for the health, safety, and welfare of the
Town of Vail and the inhabitants thereof.
ECTION 4.
The repeal or the repeal and reenactment of
any provision of the Municipal Code of the Town
of Vail as provided in this ordinance shall not af-
fect any right which has accrued, any duty im-
posed, any violation that occurred prior to the ef-
fective date hereof, any prosecution commenced.
nor any other action or proceedings as com-
menced under or by virtue of the provision re-
pealed ur repealed and reenacted. The repeal of
any provision hereby shall not revive any provi-
sion or any ordinance previously repealed or su-
perseded unless expressly stated herein.
SECTION 5.
All bylaws, orders, resolutions, and ordinan-
ces, or parts thereof, inconsistent herewith are
repealed to the extend only of such inconsisten-
cy. This repealer shall not be construed to revise
any bylaw, order, resolution, or ordinance, or part
thereof. theretofore repealed.

ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL ON
FIRST READING this 3rd day of October, 2000,
and a public hearing shalt be held on this Ordi-
nance on the 17th day of October, 2000, at 7:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Vail Munici-
pal Building, Vail, Colorado.
