T1�is letter provides the engineering for the grease interceptor installed for the Rimini
Gelaio Snop at the ArraBelle.
The grease interceptor was sized using the PDI method for a 1 minute drain time.
Calculations were performed for simultaneous drainage of all three compartments filled
75% f'ull. A copy of the calculations is attached to this letter. The calculated drainage
flow rate is 38 GPM. A Zurn model Z1170 grease interceptor, with a maximum flow rate
of 50 GPM was specified. A cut sheet and installation instructions for the grease
, interceptor are also attached.
