As requested, a representative of GRaUND visited the project to perform construction materials
testing. Upon arrival we met with Scott who directed us to unit 3A in the Treetops. We observed
that spray-applied fire resistive materials (SFRM) had been applied over th� bar-joist and the
metal deck. Scoft informed us that they had finished installation yesterday. We measured the
depth of the SFRM in several areas, collected samples of the SFRM for density and pertormed
adhesion testing. The measured thickness, bond strength and density of the SFRM appeared to
meet or exceed the specifications provided by InsulVail. Please reference the attached
summary sheets for further information.
