After reviewing your submittal for the cascade sports and.park.i ng center, I.have some questions. In the app'l ication you request'fina] approial forexterior trim, exterior 1ogo, and the landscape p1an. I did not see anyinformation on the exterior'l ogo or the entry canopy on the materia]s'list. I
assume you are not requesting approval of these two items at this time. I-would also like to know the height of the pat'i o walls on the landscape p1 an.
The planning staff will recommend that more plant'i ngs be'l ocated on the northside of the building to screen that elevation. In additjon, the staff feelsthat the sidewalks should be extended so that they provide a continuouspedestrian wa1 kway along the front of the parking structure,
Bill Andrews reviewed the plan and had these comments:
1. Curb and gutter details are needed. A swale pan across all driveways isneces sary.
2. A storm sewer was proposed at one time. What happened to jt?
3. Shouldn't sidewalks be continuous? There was a drop-off for theshuttle, so a sidewalk should tje into that area.
4. A revocable right-of-way agreement must be signed for all encroachmentssuch as landscaping and the overhead bridge ai the time the road isdedicated to the Town of Vail.
