A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UAIL VILLAGE MASTER PLAN FOR
THE. TOWN OF,VAIL; AND~',SETTING FORTH DETAILS IN REGARD THERETO.

WHEREAS, Section 2.24.060 of~the Municipal Code of the Town of Vail provides
that the Planning and Environmental Commission shall make and adopt a Master Plan
for approval by the Town Council for the physical development of the town; and
WHEREAS, the Vail Village Master Plan was developed through extensive
participation by-the public, thePlanning and Environmental Commission, and the Town
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Plan is a reflection of the goals, desires, and objectives of the
citizens of the Town of Vail for; the long term planning of the development of Vail
Village; and
WHEREAS, the Vail Village Master Plan was adopted by the Planning and
Environmental Commission 'at a regular meeting and is hereby submitted to the Town
Council for its approval; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council is~'of the opinion that the Vail Village Master Plan is
an appropriate long range planning document guiding growth and development within
the Vail Village area set forth in the P1 an.
N04I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED $Y THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF VAIL,
COLORADO:
The Town Council hereby approves the Vail Village Master Plan as submitted by
the Planning and Environmental C~'ammission.
