A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT tiVITH
THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
OVER INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 70
WHEREAS, the Town of Vail and the State Department
of Highways have agreed to participate in the construction
and maintenance of a pedestrian overpass known as BWRF 070--
2 (5) ; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Vail.
believes that said project and the Town's participation
therein is in the best interest of the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the Town of Vail authorizes
such cooperation and contracts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
1) The Contract between the Town of Vail and the
State Department of Highways for the construction and mainte-
nance of the pedestrian overpass over I~-70, known as project
BWRF 070--2 (5) is hereby approved.
2) The Town Manager is hereby directed and
authorized to execute said Contract on behalf of the Town of
Vail, and the Town Clerk is authorized and directed to attest
and affix the Town's seal to said Contract.
