A minimum functional area਍ഀ equaling thirty percent (30%) of the paved area shall be provided contiqubus to the paved area and਍ഀ desiqned to accommodate snow storaqe. Turf areas and other areas without trees may be utilized for਍ഀ this purpose. If driveways are heated, then the minimum snow storage area may be reduced to ten਍ഀ percent (10%) of the required parking and access areas.਍ഀ 14-5-2(H) Landscaping:਍ഀ ਍ഀ Landscaping: Not less than ten percent (10%) of the interior surface area of unenclosed off street਍ഀ parking areas containinq fifteen (15) or more parkinq spaces shall be devoted to landscaqinq. In਍ഀ addition, landscape borders not less than ten feet (10') in depth shall be provided at all edges of਍ഀ parking lots containing thirty (30) or more parking spaces. A landscape berm, wall, or fence of not less਍ഀ than four feet (4') in height, of the same architectural style as the building, in combination with਍ഀ landscaping may be substituted for the landscape border. In developments with cross access or਍ഀ shared parking facilities, the landscape border befinreen the developments shall not be required.਍ഀ ਍ഀ 14-6-3 Natural Features:਍ഀ ਍ഀ Grading that is detrimental to existing natural features is discouraged. Those areas of a site that are਍ഀ determined to remain in a natural state shall be protected during construction.
