Section A/S4 would apply to these locations. You may want to pour one large pad instead of the 10" x਍ഀ 16" footing. If you go that route, use a 10" thick pad that is 4" beyond the walls on all sides, and reinforce with #5਍ഀ @ 10" o.c. each way. The stone arches should support themselves once they are cured. Generally we support਍ഀ the cripple studs that form the arch from the horizontal beam above with LSTA strap ties at each stud. The arch਍ഀ is sheathed with %a" O.S.B., and the stone is hung from this assembly with 16 gauge dovetail anchors @ 12" o.c.਍ഀ in both directions. There is a W18 x 35 at the Breeden Residence. The web can be packed-out solid with 2x਍ഀ material if none exists so the strap ties will have something to connect to. If no beam exists at the Boehland਍ഀ Residence, add a triple 1 x 16 LVL above the arch, and hang the underframing from it.
