DRAINAGE AND CULVERT INSPECTiONS ARE REQUIRED BY PUBLiC WORKS�
Please read and check off each of the items below:
❑ The Town of Vail Building Department has developed the following procedures to
ensure that new construction sites have adequately established proper drainage
from building sites along and adjacent to Town of Vail roads or streets.
o The Town of Vail Public Works Department will be required to inspect and approve
drainage adjacer�t to Town of Vail roads or streets and the installation of temporary
or permanent culverts at access points from the road or street onto the construction
site. Such approval must be obtained prior to any requests for�inspection by the
Town of Vait Building Department for footings, temporary electricai or any other
inspection. Please call Leonard Sandoval at 479-2198 to request an inspection from
the Public Works Department. Allow a minimum of 24 hour notice.
o Also, the Town of Vail Public Works Department will be approving all final drainage
and culvert installation with resulting road patching as necessary. Such approval
must be obtained prior to any Final Certificate of Occupancy issuance.

REMARKS: Leonard, I am following-up per our meeting yesterday regarding
the handicap ramp at 450 Treetops, Permit #BOS-0010.� As discussed,we have
ordered Peak Surveying to do a full survey of the area including the ewsting
handicap ramp for use by Alpine Engineering to review and further design a
hvndicap ramp to meet ADA and Town of Vail standards.
We have requested all parties to expedite the design in order that we may start
any approved wo�lc the week of April 18m as discussed. Upon receipt of a civil
design,we shall submit this to the Town of Vail and/or discuss at the Vail Resorts-
TOV weekly meeting as appropriate to gain approval.
� Please consider this as work included under the existing permit and as the lasf
item to be completed as we are waiting unfil affer 4/17/05 to start this street work
as requested.
