In summary, ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for anyഀ
person to litter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debrisഀ
or material, including trash dumpsters, portable toilets andഀ
workmen vehicles upon any street, sidewalk, alley or publicഀ
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town ofഀ
Vail streets and roads is approximately 5 ft. off pavement.ഀ
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of Vailഀ
Public Works Department. Persons found violating this ordinanceഀ
will be given a 24 hour written notice to remove said material.ഀ
In the event the person so notified does not comply with theഀ
notice within the 24 hour time specified, the Public Worksഀ
Department will remove said material at the expense of personഀ
notified. The provisions of this ordinance shall not beഀ
applicable to construction, maintenance or repair projects ofഀ
any street or alley or any utilities in.the right-a-way.ഀ
