➢ Average Daily Performance from August 1st, 2020 to February 28th, 2021 is currently down -10.5% (-11.2 last
report) compared to last year
➢ Since the last report (07/31), bookings activity for August 1st through January 31st has yielded a net of +12,900
or 12,900 bookings. This level of net booking activity has increased from the last report (+18,393).
o *It is important to consider that when we observe net statistics these numbers take into account a
summation of both bookings and cancellations as both types of activity were noted since the last report.
➢ The 08/15 report continues the trend from the last few reports of short-lead bookings holding prominence in
the marketplace. As consumers continue to deal with the ever-changing landscape of travel, the window of
booking to arrival is becoming increasingly smaller. August and September combined recorded 85% of the
bookings made since the last report, while October – January make up the remaining 15%.
August
➢ As short-lead bookings continue to dominate the marketplace August experienced an improvement in average
daily performance to -8.6% (-12.3% last report)
o There are -5,928 (-9,446 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o One day, the 2nd, experienced a net decrease in bookings since the last report (-10 bookings)
o Since the last report, there have been net +7,897 (+10,177 last report) bookings for the month
o The largest outperformance was on the 12th, up +9.2% (+7.1% last report), and has now shifted to the
16th, up +12.2% over last year at this time
o The largest underperformance is on the 29th, down -34.8% (-33.8% last report) over last year at this time
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 15th, with +509 bookings added
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year
September
➢ September has experienced another 2-week period of heavy bookings fill, though the ground to be made up is
quite significant, and leaves average daily performance down slightly further than last report at -14.8% (-14.7%
last report)
o There are -10,328 (-11,028 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o Since the last report, there have been net +3,061 (+911 last report) bookings for the month
o The only outperformance is on the 1st, up +1.0% over last year at this time
o The largest underperformance is on the 11th, down -32.8% (-30.3% last report) over last year at this time
o The largest reduction in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 10th, with -17 bookings
cancelled
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 4th, with +227 bookings added
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year

➢ While October has experienced an increase in booking pace since the last report, the performance increase
noted last year outpaced this year, slightly decreasing average daily performance to -7.8% (-7.7% last report)
o There are -5,608 (-5,643 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o Halloween is currently down -4.4% (-5.5% last report) with -101 (-129 last report) less bookings over last
year at this time and has added +31 bookings since the last report
o Since the last report, there have been net +960 (-78 last report) bookings for the month
o The largest reduction in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 3rd, with -58 bookings cancelled
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 10th, with +91 bookings added
o The largest outperformance is on the 15th, up 1.3% over last year at this time
o The largest underperformance was on the 2nd, down -37.2% (-32.7% last report) over last year at this
time
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year
November
➢ November experienced a large, and positive, change in booking pace since the last report, improving average
daily performance to -1.6% (-2.3% last report)
o There are -1,050 (-1,668 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o Since the last report, there have been net +1,239 (+587 last report) bookings for the month
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 30th, with +135 bookings added
o The largest reduction in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 12th, with -76 bookings
cancelled
o The largest outperformance is on the 13th, up +3.7% (-0.3% last report) over last year at this time
o The largest underperformance is on the 5th, down -8.3% (-9.8% last report) over last year at this time
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year
December
➢ December continued to fall behind last year’s performance with astoundingly low bookings since the last report,
lowering average daily performance to -11.0% (-8.6% last report)
o There are -8,151 (-6,936 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o Since the last report, there have been net +31 (+453 last report) bookings for the month
o No days are outperforming last year
o Christmas is currently down -19.7% (-16.8% last report) with -472 (-436 last report) less bookings than
last year at this time and has added +11 bookings since the last report
o New Years Eve is currently down -11.8% (-8.9% last report) with -280 (-233 last report) less bookings
than last year at this time and has added +5 bookings since the last report
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 1st, with +125 bookings added
o The largest net reduction in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 12th, with -74 bookings
cancelled
o The largest underperformance is on the 25th, down -19.7% (-16.8% last report) over last year at this time
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year

➢ January continues to see large underperformances vs last year as long-lead bookings struggle in the consumer
marketplace
o There are -10,374 (-8,021 last report) less bookings than last year at this time
o New Year’s Day is down -10.4% (-7.4% last report) with -247 (-192 last report) less bookings than last
year at this time
o Average daily performance is -14.0% (-10.7% last report)
o The largest underperformance is on the 21st, down -22.1% (-14.7% last report) over last year at this time
o The largest addition in bookings, since the last report, occurred on both the 3rd and 23rd, with +21
bookings added
o The largest reduction in bookings, since the last report, occurred on the 29th, with -51 bookings
cancelled
o There are no days outperforming last year
o Inventory is slightly higher than last year
February
➢ February has just come on the books and is showing significant underperformance in comparison to last year as
average daily performance is currently -16.1%
o There are -10,426 less bookings than last year at this time
