Member/Lodging Partner Engagement:
• Total YTD leads are ahead of pace by 14% from 2019 (114) and 27% from 2020 (96)
• 40% of current pipeline is for short term group programs taking place in 2021
• 7 groups contracted in the month of June – 3 short term for July/August 2021
• Monthly Lead Status Update to Lodging Partners
• Provided COVID Dial/5 Star Variance Updates
• Bi-Weekly Meetings with DOS Advisory Council from Vail Lodging Community
• VLMD Meetings - Board Meeting, Partner Meeting, Vail Spring Update, and Fiscal Campaign
• Meeting with Ellen Collins for onboarding for Vail Resorts Eagle Sales Team
• Virtual Presentation to Encova Insurance with the Grand Hyatt
Marketing/Media Efforts:
• Eblast to all groups in the pipeline and OTB to inform planners about the CTO Meetings &
Incentives Program for State of CO
Executive Summary/What’s Next for July:
• Vail Valley Sales Trip – First time back since January 2020
• Refresher site visits with lodging partners while I’m in Vail
• Attend VLMD Board & Partner Budget Meetings
• Vail DOS Virtual Meeting on 7/8 and in-person Happy Hour on 7/22
• Lunch appointment with planner from Genesco 7/22 while he’s in town for his conference
• Three site visits – Tire Industry Association 7/12-14 (site postponed from June to July),
Landmark Incentive 7/19-20 & Rocky Mountain Mineral Foundation 7/27-29
• Work on site tour agenda for MTS visit in September
