75 South Frontage Road West, Vail, CO 81657 Members Present: Members Absent: Greg Hall Kathleen Halloran Greg Clifton George Ruther
John King Staff: Corum: Lynne Campbell David Leiby Cicely Crampton
Meeting was called to order at 8:35 PM with a quorum present. The Committee reviewed and approved the meeting results as presented.
Motion: King Second: Hall Vote: 3-0 Update on Building K-04 Renovation. Leiby stated the drywall is complete, doors will arrive this week. Temporary labor hired for painting and texturing. Leiby believes work will be completed on time.
Building K and L GFI installation was discussed. Per inspection notes there was no GFI in buildings. One per unit is required a total of 36 in all. The receptacles went bad and were replaced without required GFI. The Committee said to get install estimate. King will add this work to the existing permit.
The Committee next discussed the Vail Resorts Parking Spots. Clifton asked if they could hold off on this decision for now. He wants to have a dialogue with Vail Resorts. Per Leiby that is fine as parking space not needed until next winter season.
Corum and Vail Resorts (VR) has a discussion about their relationship. VR is working with Jennifer to improve relations. Per Leiby Jennifer seems more engaged. Crampton thinks meeting was productive.
Town parking rented seven (7) spaces per Leiby. Option could be resolved by taking back one (1) parking space from Vail Resorts.
Next up was discussion about VR Storage. The letter to VR is pending town attorney review. He was out of town during this meeting. Leiby discussed VR lease violation status. VR currently doesn’t have a service manager
and VR is non-communicative. Crampton had no update. Leiby has concerns Corum will end up doing the summer turns as VR wants to hire lifties and mountain dining staff to do maintenance and housekeeping for about six (6) weeks. All units being worked by this staff have been renovated. Per Leiby there is a communication breakdown to let him know when the unit is ready. This is supposed to go through Jennifer (Jen).
Leiby to give Crampton top 5 issues and she’ll share with VR. Meeting adjourned at 8:55AM. Motion: Clifton Second: Hall Vote: 3-0
The next scheduled meeting of the Timber Ridge Operating Committee is May 29, 2018.
