I did elevate the parking space question and at this point we cannot justify losing any spots. We really struggle with parking and pay per spot for overflow parking so it’d be difficult to lose even one space. We hope you understand! Thank you, Todd A. I have exhausted all other reasonable options that is why I have come to Vail Resorts for assistance. Hopefully this will soften the blow on the parking spot, P-12 has been pre-leased to one of your employees. With that being the case, Vail Resorts will truly be gaining three more beds for employees as P-12 is usually never fully occupied. Please let me know if you will be able to work with us on the parking spot. Thanks and Have a great day! Based on the parking usage for VR’s master leased units we were hoping this wouldn’t be too big of an ask. Thanks for your consideration. Have a great weekend! Are there any other options at this point? More than happy to work with you on that, just want to ensure all avenues have been exhausted. Thank you! Todd A. We have a few updates to discuss: 1) We will be able to start renovations on May 15th, 2018 in Building M. As of now, no delays are expected. Building Permits have been submitted and approved, we are just waiting on Electrical permit approval. I will construct a comprehensive timeline for your team in the coming days. We will update weekly on the project status via email and will promptly notify Vail Resorts of any delays. The contractor we have selected renovated Building K in 2016 and we our confidence in completing the project on time. 2) As of 2/28/2018, we have confirmed that K-04 will be able to be renovated and put back into the rental pool. We are proposing a K-04 and P-12 apartment swap. K-04 would become the 54th unit in Exhibit A and P-12 would be returned to the Town of Vail. We are anticipating bringing K-04 on line on May 1st in conjunction with the renewal of the master lease. If we are delayed, we will notify Vail Resorts as soon as possible with a new turnover date. 3) We request that Vail Resorts return one parking space for the Town of Vail’s use to accommodate a new unit being introduced into the rental pool. Vail resorts would then have 45 parking spaces plus the 4 office spots. We hope this is agreeable as we feel we have made quite a few accommodations to Vail Resorts such as free rental for a business office, maintenance shop and storage areas. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience with any feedback. Please be patient as the general contractors check on the availability of their subcontractors. I will update you as soon as my GC’s get back to me. Thanks and Have a great day! With the construction landscape as it is, we are finding that qualified contractors have been booked early, leaving our project with an anticipated start date of June 1-15. We have a meeting with the operating committee next week and can discuss the idea of putting off the remaining 18 units until 2019 if you think that this is a better solution to accommodate your sub-lessors for this summer. Budget wise, since we’ve already planned on having M cleared out by the end of April and didn’t forecast any income from that building, will the abatement still reflect that for May? If that’s the case no concerns from our side! Thank you, Todd A. Wanted to give you an update on our renovation schedule for the 18 remaining units in Building M. At this time we are looking at contractor availability to begin renovations no sooner than June 1st, possibly as late at June 15th. Does this pose any issue for you all?
