HomeMy WebLinkAbout02. a CRC 2020 Event Recap - 10th Mountain Parades10th Mountain Division Parade 6 Parades-Nov. 29, Dec 27, Jan 3rd & 17th, Feb 14th and March 6th. 10th Mountain Division Parade Jeff Wiles Phone: 970-331-1176 jjwiles@msn.com 2 Overall Event Highlights & Successes 3 •Excellent Crowd participation •Weather was very good for all parades which helped with attendance. •The Snowsports Museum benefited greatly from each of the parades by increasing their traffic substantially. Win/Win Estimated Attendee Profile Results 4 We had Guests from many different states and from various countries attend this years parades. We actually had a Soldier from another country march in the parade with our crew. NPS (Net Promoter Score) 5 Attendee Response: How likely is it that you would recommend this event to a friend or colleague? The NPS Calculation Calculate your NPS using the answer to a key question, using a 0-10 scale: How likely is it that you would recommend [brand] to a friend or colleague? Promoters (score 9-10) are loyal enthusiasts who will keep buying and refer others, fueling growth. Passives (score 7-8) are satisfied but unenthusiastic customers who are vulnerable to competitive offerings. Detractors (score 0-6) are unhappy customers who can damage your brand and impede growth through negative word-of-mouth. Event Strengths & Weaknesses 6 •How did the event exceed expectations? We had the commanding General of the 10th Mtn. Division from Fort Drum, NY and his Command Sergeant Major attend the parade on February 14th seen here with Hugh Evans, an original 10th Mtn Vet. What are areas for event improvement? Always looking for ways to make the event more Guest Friendly but so far, it works. How did this year’s event compare to last year? Better, smoother and more attendance. We had more fireworks per show, more pins to give out to our Guests. Vail Brand Compatibility The Premier International Mountain Resort Community 7 •We had Guests from all over the world attend the parades. Brand Positioning: •Town of Vail: The Premier International Mountain Resort Community •Vail Mountain: Like nothing on earth Community Contribution 8 This parade drew both Guests and Locals alike to remember the impact the 10th Mountain Division has had on not only Vail Mountain but the entire ski industry. It was also a great educational piece for the local kids in the valley. Potential for Growth & Sponsorships/Media Exposure 9 •We would expect to have the same number of shows next ski season due to the success of the this past year’s shows. Sustainability Efforts 10 •Hot Coco cups were recyclable. We had very little impact within the TOV.
