Rocky Mountain Burgers, Beers, and Burgandy
Goal: To provide the Town of Vail with a food and beverage festival that is up to date with the
most recent health standards and is a safe environment for all patrons.
Participants: Local breweries and restaurants as well as wineries from around the world.
- 15 Regional Breweries
- 10 Local Restaurants
- 15 Wineries
When & Where: Donovan Pavilion Lawn - August 15th, 2020
How it Works: An all inclusive tasting featuring as many local participants as possible. Patrons
are given plates and glasses and are able to have unlimited samples during the event time.
Digital voting will be available to vote for their favorite burger, favorite beer, and favorite wine.
Time & Ticketing: (3) 75min Tasting Sessions throughout the day. Each session is capped at
200 people. Tickets will only be available in advance online and pricing will be determined at a
later time. Patrons will agree to the event guidelines when purchasing their ticket. General event
timeline below:
- 10:00am Begin Setup
- 1:00pm First Session Begins
- 2:15pm First Session Ends
- 2:15-3:00pm Clean and Sanitize entire footprint and reset
- 3:00pm Second Session Begins
- 4:15pm Second Session Ends
- 4:15-5:00pm Clean and Sanitize entire footprint and reset
- 5:00pm Third Session Begins
- 6:15pm Third Session Ends
- 6:15-8:00pm Clean and breakdown event
Complying with Health Regulations: The event will strictly follow all health regulations that
have been put in place by the CDC and Eagle County Public Health. Vendors will be placed at
least 6ft apart from one another with marks every 6ft for patrons to stand in line while waiting to
receive their sample. Patrons will all have their own glass and plate to eliminate the amount of
waste and keep contamination contained. High top tables will be spread around the festival
grounds so that people can safely eat and drink while at their table. All participating vendors will
have to sign a form saying that they will follow all event guidelines before being allowed to
participate. These guidelines will outline how they can participate safely and keep everyone that
is involved in the event safe. After each session, the entire event footprint will be cleaned and
sanitized.
