2020 SUMMER RECAP
During the 2020 Summer Season we were among a very small list of venues around the nation that found a way to open our
doors during the COVID-19 pandemic. We knew it was critical to continue to provide access to music and the arts to our
community during this time.So we adapted, adjusted, and re-imagined the performing arts experience to allow for limited capacity
in-person events and performances, including a full Hot Summer Nights concert schedule, headliner Amp Summer Concerts,a
Vail Dance Festival watch party, multiple movie nights,an evening with Joshua Bell presented by the VPAC and seven classical
performances from Bravo!Vail .See the story of our summer efforts in Pollstar here.

2020 SUMMER EVENT TESTIMONIALS
“We’ve been playing Zoom screens, Facebook screens, it felt
really great to finally play in front of live people. It was a small
crowd, but it felt like it was 5,000 people.” –Robert Randolph
“I think it’s the ultimate way to see a concert. I was never a fan
of being overcrowded. We’ve been having the time of our lives
this summer. We’ve had some of the best gigs we’ve ever
played.” –Scott Rednor, Brother’s Keeper
“Live music is something I didn’t think I took for granted, but I did.”
–Suzanne Cobb, Concert Attendee
“We make live music a priority. It lifts your spirits, which is well-needed
right now, especially. We feel super safe here.” –Jessica Conyers,
Concert Attendee
“It was really nice to come and have all of this space virtually to
ourselves. Having an outlet like this is so important right now.”
–Judd Clark, Concert Attendee
“What’s meaningful to me is that we are putting people to work –
musicians, cleaning crews, equipment providers. Some of these individuals
had not had any work in months, but now they are actively participating in
making their community a better, more joyful, place.” –Tom Boyd, Director,
Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater
