Dear Peter:
The purpose of this letter is to formally request the ap-proval for an additional 250 sq. ft. of gross residentialfloor area under Ordinance 4 of 1985. This space actuallyexists and has existed for approximately four years but wasnever granted a building permit for formal approval. It is
now owned by Alpine Bank & Trust of Glenwood Springs and itis their intention to bring the space into conformance with
Town zoning and building code laws.
It is our understanding that this approval will be subject tothe completion of a modification to the window which willallow egress as well as other necessary building department
requirements.

In sunmary, Ordinance No. 6 states chae lt is unlawful for any person tolitter, track or deposit any soi1, rock, sand, debris or material, includJ.ngtrash dumpsters, portable toilets and workmen vehicles upon any street,sidewalk, al1ey or public place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way
on all Town of Vail streets and roads ls approxinately 5 ft. off pavement.This ordinance w111 be strictly enforced by rhe Town of Vail Public WorksDepartment. Persons found violating thls ordinance will be given 24-hourLtritten notice to remove said material. In the event the person so notified
does not courply with the noEice within the 24-hour time specified, thePublic Works Department wlll remove said materiaL at the expense of personnotifj.ed. The provlslons of this ordinance shall not be applicable toconstructlon, ual-ntenance or repair projects of any street or a11ey or anyutilities in the rlght-of-way.
