VLMDAC 1st Quarter Report
April 25, 2022
The following report highlights SITE Marketing’s work and accomplishments over the 1st Quarter 2022
as it directly relates to the VLMDAC. While SITE Marketing’s “results” may not be
measurable/quantifiable in the traditional number sense, SITE’s established leadership role and
widespread responsibilities among the partners, Economic Director, Manager and VLMDAC are integral
to the overall operations and success of the VLMDAC and Vail Summer. Below outlines SITE Marketing’s
specific involvement during this time period:
➢ 2022 Budget (10 hours) –
• Participated in discussions/meetings regarding the Supplemental Budget request.
• Assisted in developing presentation for Town Council
➢ Photo/Video (30 hours) –
• Developing the User Generated Content photo website page/process (this will launch in
May)
• Meetings with Cactus/Steep on video needs; specifically for website. Developed
brief/plan/timeline to enhance web pages with video content.
➢ Meeting Presentations & Attendance (30 hours) -
➢ Developed Agendas for January, February and March VLMDAC meetings.
➢ Developed/coordinated partner submission for the January, February and March
monthly VLMDAC presentations; coordinating content submission from partners, editing
content, proofing content, correcting formatting issues, reviewing and finalizing
presentation prior to submission to the board.
➢ Attendance and participation at January, February and March VLMDAC board meetings.
➢ Bi-Monthly one-on-one status meetings with Liz/Mia.
➢ Bi-Monthly partners meetings with entire partner group. Recently began coordinating
these meetings, developing agendas and leading.
➢ Assisted/provided feedback in the Creative Presentation to Town Council
➢ Email ( 60 hours)
• Working with Liz, Whitney and Jen (meetings/email discussions) on strategic direction,
content, images for these emails.
• Writing content for January, February and March, April and May email sends.
• Proofing test emails
➢ Website/Content Management (90 hours)
• Writing/updating /expanding winter content and Q1 articles for website/email landing
page purposes
• Working with Whitney to ensure new pages/posts have images supporting
• Working with 3rd party content writers to develop additional articles
• Provided input on development of Dream Trips, Easter Promotion
• Discussions on enhancing the group/meeting content on website; will kick this off in
May.
➢ Account Services - (10 hours) -
• Developing SITE’s 2022 VLMDAC contract based on original budget/scope of work;
revising based on changes in scope of services.
• SITE Marketing’s work ethic means we are never out of reach; with 24/7 access to the
primary contact and on-going communication.
• Utilizing long standing experience and history with the VLMDAC by providing assistance,
ongoing consultation and advising regarding various VLMDAC matter
