As the event director, I have a Masters of Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute. I'm an artist myself who travels and participates in these same events. I've gained incredible insight of what creates a good art festival. I know what works and what does not. My high education and experience have contributed to the success of the event. My ambition expanded our event from one single show in the summer to now two. Art on the Rockies in July in Edwards and Vail Fine Art in August in Lionshead. With future support, our plan is to expand the Lionshead art show from 76 participants to an international art festival of over 200 exhibitors. Explain the adaptability of the event and the event producer to adjust to changing public health orders. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, my event was one of the only art festivals that actually went on. I worked closely with the county at each step. I changed the entire festival lay-out and created a safe, effective outdoor event catering to social distancing, mask, and sanitary mandates.
