This permit application has been denied per Building Official Martin Haeberle. On January 22nd, 2009, Code Enforcement Officer Bob Webb and Building Inspector Greg Denckla responded to your property at 2065 W Gore Creek Dr #16 in response to a complaint that work was being performed without a permit. During that visit, you made statements to Mr. Webb and Mr. Denckla that you did not intend to perform the electrical work yourself, and would be hiring someone else to do this work. Per Colorado State Revised Statute 12-23-105, electrical permits must be issued to licensed electricians. To resolve this issue, please have a State of Colorado licensed and Town of Vail registered electrical contractor apply for a permit, or demonstrate to the Building Official that you are capable of performing this work yourself. TOWN OF VAIL ELECTRICAL PERMIT GUIDELINES ❑ All installations of exterior hot tubs or spa's require a DRB approval from planning. This application will not be accepted without a copy of the DRB approval form attached (if applicable). ❑ If this permit is for installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on a new elevated platform or deck over 30" above grade, you must also obtain a building permit. ❑ If this permit is for installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on any existing deck or elevated platform, a structural engineer must review the existing condition and verify that it will support the added concentrated load. Please provide a copy of the structural engineers wet stamped letter or drawing with this application. ❑ If this is a remodel in a multi-family building with a homeowners association, a letter of permission from the association is required. ❑ If this permit is for a commercial space, two (2) sets of stamped drawings are required.
