General Information:
This application is required for all proposals involving minor changes to buildings and site improvements, such as re-
roofing, painting, window additions, landscaping, fences, retaining walls, etc. Applicable Vail Town Code sections can be
reviewed on-line at www.vailgov.com under Vail Information - Town Code On-line. All projects requiring design review
must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design Review cannot be
accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as outlined in the submittal
requirements. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and
construction commences.
Fee: $250 for Multi-Family/Commercial
$20 for Single Family/Duplex

Application for Design Review - Minor Exterior Alterations
• Business: Vail Resorts, Inc. Mountain Information Center in the Arrabelle
• The purpose of this application is to request approval to install 3 new awnings and
associated structures on the Vail Mountain information center located in the
Arrabelle @ Vail Square.
• These new structures will give the facility more "presence" on the mall and make
it easier for our guests to find and a more finished look to the space will be
achieved by adding additional awnings to windows, which are currently bare.
NOTE - a separate Sign Application for Design Review is being submitted for the new
signage concurrently with this application per Bill Gibson.
