General Information:
All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. Please
refer to the submittal requirements for the particular approval that is requested. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. The
project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and/or the Planning and Environmental Commission.
Design review approval lapses unless a building permit is issued and construction commences within
one year of the approval.

Remove and Replacement of trees in drive island
George,
Due to constraints of construction access to the Mountain View parcel the trees in the driveway
island will need to be removed. The Town of Vail planning department has required that in order to
remove the trees there will need to be 4 new trees added to the site. R A Nelson will add 4 new 16' trees
not to be placed in the CDOT ROW; 2 at the south east corner of the drive island and 2 at the middle of
the north property line to fulfill the requirement of replacement of the removed trees. The landscape
drawing ASI 33 shows the size and location of the 4 new trees on the site. Below is the signature of Ron
Constien the owner's representative for Lunar Vail who has reviewed and approved the removal and
replacement of the trees. Please contact me if you have questions.
