HomeMy WebLinkAboutVail Plaza Hotel alleged FFU violation January 9, 2009 Mr. Connie Dorsey, General Manager Vail Plaza Hotel 16 Vail Road Vail, Colorado 81657 Dear Connie, The purpose of my letter is to follow up with you in writing on a message I received alleging that two fractional fee club units located within the Vail Plaza Hotel may be being used in violation of the Zoning Regulations of the Town of Vail. According to the message, it has been suggested that Units 313 and 401 are presently being used as fulltime residential dwellings and not as fractional fee clubs as required by the approved developed plan adopted for the Vail Plaza Hotel. Pursuant to the approved development plan, only one dwelling unit shall be permitted within the Vail Plaza Hotel (Unit 1000). All other units located with the building shall be used as either fractional fee club units, accommodation units or deed restricted employee housing in keeping with the approved plans. Upon receipt of this letter, please take a moment and contact me by telephone at 970- 479-2145 so that we may discuss the allegation and how we might go about ensuring compliance with the Zoning Regulations is maintained.
