FRAME WALL MOUNTING BRACKET
PLAIN OR PLATED
Awning frames can easily be mounted with these brackets.
Made from 3hE in. hot rolled steel, they are supplied plated. or
plain (for applications requiring painting). Two holes spaced
equally for lagging into mortar are provided to secure bracket to
wall. There is also a 3/is in. hole to accommodate a tek screw for
fastening the frame. Will accommodate a '/s in. lag screw.

Frame joining brackets allow covered frame sections to be
easily joined together without obvious and unsightly joints.
Adjoining modular frame sections of different or identical

STEEL STITCHT" SYSTEMS
The Steel Stitch" System offers flexibility in design and fabrication of interior and exterior awnings, canopies and back-lit signs. The aluminum
alloy 6063-T5 mill finish frame system utilizes the "staple-in" method of attaching fabric, which is taken directly from the roll and stapled
into a channel in the frame. A PVC finishing trim, in a choice of 30 colors plus Crystal Clear, is then driven into the channel to cover the
staples. With the use of divider strips to join sections and the exclusive, patented Flashstrip", which forms a watertight seal against
building surfaces, the result is an attractive, seamless, wrinkle-free and leak-proof awning, canopy or sign.

Please attach this note with the plans. A change to the following drawings:
the welded valance in the front and to the right of the post will be one
continuous panel. The 5' 11 5/8" section on the right of drawing #1 -
Storefront West Elevation will be added to the center panel, 15' 1 '/<"
equaling a total width for the welded valance of 21' 7/8". This change was
a condition of approval from the Vail Design Review Board.
And, both welded valances will be on the same plane.

Dear Annie
As promised, please receive the drawing from our architectural set
illustrating the proposed design for the Loro Piana store awning at Bridge
Street.
In the upper right corner you have the plan showing the relation of the
awning to the property line.

Just to recap, the design was mostly driven by the necessity of not
encroaching the property line while covering as much as possible of the

stair to access the store.
Along Bridge street, the owner did not allow the awning to hide the wooden
corbels, therefore the only solution available was the one presented in the
drawings.
Please remember that this layout follows the design proposed and approved in
the building's awning application, therefore I don't think that much
deviation would be allowed.
