Dear Pete,
The purpose of this letter is to summarize the Design Review Board's comments from their
conceptual review of an addition and new unit at 1451 Buffehr Creek Rd. The DRB's comments
were as follows:
• Utilize earth tones and muted colors, as color is what ties the two buildings together
• Pick stone that works well with corten
• Make sure stone wraps around the buildings
• New building needs to blend with the existing building and the neighborhood
• Window changes are positive
• Make changes to the existing building to help with transition to new building
• On the right track with design
In order to finalize this approval, please submit two design review applications, one for an
addition and the other application for new construction. If you have questions or concerns, feel
