Items 1-3 have been addresses on this sheet. Silt fence and the area effected by the construction is hatched to be more visible All marked trees to be protected by silt fence -I've circled them and I've added a note on the plans as well. I hope this will be satisfactory. One more question -are the owners responsible for new fees on the tree removal application? John delivered the app/. and was asked for app/. fees. Didn't you said that it will be waived? Please let me know. Thank you for everything. As for #4 I contacted the fire marshal/ to get more information. He hasnt formally requested this information so I asked him to formally respond. I will keep you posted. As for the tree removal application, keep me posted. Once I have all the info I need, I can staff approve these applications. No need to get on a plane I will follow up with you on the fire sprinkler issue and in the meantime, send me revised drawings. Make sure they have a new date on the plans. Thanks! Items # 1 and #2 -those should be in a form of a note, am I 'm understanding your request correctly? # 3 - I will show protection around each tree. # 4 -That might be adeal-breaker....I've called Mike, he had not responded yet.. Rachel, all the Capstones are on a low water pressure system. I'm not sure, how the sprinklers, and the entire system could be installed, and yet make the project still financially feasible. Eventhought the cost is a large issue, the logistics and mechanics might be close to impossible. when did this became a requirement for residential units? I was not aware of this. Tree removal application is in the works. Maria had sent it to the #2 owners, but they have not responded yet. I will send you copies of each corrected sheet. Rachel, you have mentioned staff approval before. Should I prepare for a trip to Vail or will you just sign off on this? Please let me know. Thank you for all your help. Silt fencing must be installed (correctly) from the parking lotto the j ob site on the down hill side to prevent material or rocks from rolling down. 2. Contractor is require to install Best Management Practices (BMP) to keep debris and mud from tracking onto the parking lot. 3. Access road for construction runs pretty close to exiting trees, all efforts to protect them should be taken. Show tree protection- i.e. fencing around trees. 4. Units with additions will be required to have fire sprinklers, and connection should be plumbed for other units. For more info, please call Mike Vaughan the Fire Marshall at 970-479- 2252. Can you submit those changes, and then I can approve the applications. Just a reminder that I am waiting on your corrected application for tree removal b/c this needs to be made by the owner of the lot where the trees are being removed. Thanks !
