General Information:
This application is for all changes to approved plans prior to Certificate of Occupancy. An Application for Design Review cannot be
accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. Design review approval lapses unless
a building permit is issued and construction commences within one year of the approval.

1. Three (3) copies of all pertinent approved plans with illustrated, labeled changes
2. Joint Property Owner Written Approval Letter, if applicable

As was mentioned during our meeting this past April 29th, Timberline Roost Lodge,
LLC, as the owners of the above referenced property, have made the decision to delay the
construction of the Timberline Lodge and Condominiums project. The current economic climate
has created a situation where we cannot meet the needs and requirements of both our lenders and
financial partners. At this time, our best option is to continue the operation of the existing Roost
Lodge in the hope that conditions will become more favorable for construction in the near future.
It is with this decision in mind that we would like to request an extension to our Design Review
Board ("DRB") approval and Conditional Use Permit ("CUP").
It is our understanding from reviewing the Town Code that our Planning Commission
approval is good for a period of three years from the date of approval by the DRB. As was
discussed and agreed upon at our meeting, since January 16, 2008 was the date of our last DRB
approval for the project, our major exterior alteration remains valid until January 16, 2011.
However, the DRB approval and CUP (that granted us the right to construct three employee
housing units on site), will expire one year from the date of those approvals.
In an effort to avoid multiple extension requests, we ask that you consider granting
extensions for our DRB and CUP that would allow the expirations of these approvals to coincide
with the expiration of our Planning Commission Approval. We are available to discuss this with
you in further deiail should you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your
