General Information:
All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. Please
refer to the submittal requirements for the particular approval that is requested. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. The
project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and/or the Planning and Environmental Commission.
Design review approval lapses unless a building permit is issued and construction commences within
one year of the approval.

RE: Changes to DRB approved Drawings
The following list describes the proposed changes that are proposed to the exterior of the
building following the DBB approval.
1. Eave mounted painted gutters now feed into wa!! mounted paints-~ downspouts. The
co~or for the downspouts and gutters will be coordinated to match the au{scent
material.
2. Sheet A 4.1 and A4.3 -The egress stair that was to the south of the parking ramp was
relocated to the south west corner of the building and a roof element and decorative
gate were added. This stair is in the setback, but since it is an egress stair, it is allowed.
3. Sheet A 4.2 -The shuttered windows at the west stair (between grids A and C) was
reduced from three shutters wide to two shutters wide to blend better with the other
window sizes.
4. Sheet A 4.2 -- A window was replaced with a french door in three locations to satisfy
emergency egress requirements from the bedrooms (between grids V and V.4). These
doors will be the same finish as the adjacent windows.
5. Sheet A 4.3 - A window was added on the 4th floor at grid line 2.
6. Sheet A 4.3 -The transom windows in the fitness room were regrouped and one
window was eliminated (between grid lines 12 and 14). This was done to allow grade to
follow the existing slope and eliminate the need to have a guard rail at the public
sidewalk.
7. Sheet A 4.3 -The gas meter will remain in the existing location on the east side of the
building as drawn in.
8. Sheet 4.4 -The stair windows (between grid lines 4 and 5) were replaced with the
shuttered window details to eliminate the condition of having an intermediate landing
from crossing in front of the window.
9. Sheet A 4.4 - A site stair was added to resolve a grade change in the area.
