Pursuant to Section 12 -11- 12, Vail Town Code, we can not administratively extend these approvals if the project does not comply with recent amendments to the Town's design guidelines. Wood shakes are no longer a permitted roofing material within the Town of Vail. Please revise the design review application to install a Class A roofing material on the new addition. Since the proposed addition is less than 500 sq.ft., the existing legally non - conforming wood shake roof may be maintained. Additionally, the Town of Vail now requires that all exterior lights be full cut -off style fixtures. Please submit updated proposed light fixture cut sheets verifying compliance with this requirement. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me via email or at 479 -2173. Any of our series can be fabricated to be dark sky fixtures. means that fixtures that you see on our website that have glass panels on the side would be replaced with solid brass, except for the bottom panel (if you wanted it there). So, filigrees and overlays would not apply to this order. Now, all that's left is selecting the body shape that you like. The only series that may not work would be Oak Knoll Avenue Let me know if you need more info. Lindsay Brown Sales & Marketing Old California Lantern Co.
