cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. The

Thank you for the submittal for awning signage to the Gateway Board of Directors.
The Board approves your proposed awning signage as attached in your request subject to the following:
1. All Town of Vail permits and requirements are obtained.
2. Awning color matches that of Kelly liken awnings.
3. The lettering is similiar to that used by Kelly Liken (to maintain a consistent look amongst the differnet
awning signs).
4. The owner is responsible for any ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the awning.

Finally - we have a draft for the awning type signage. We have been in contact with the town of Vail and
they wanted us to have the same type sign as Kelly Liken. Fred with IGS has been doing Kelly's signs so
it makes the process much more simple. This is just a sample, we don't have Michael English's logo yet.
And we can do both our signs as Keller Williams if you don't like the Luxury Homes Division sign.
Anyway, can you please advise on how to get signage program approved. We had discussed emailing to
the HOA members instead of waiting for the next meeting. I feel it is very professional and compliments
the building. I hope your HOA feels the same. We would like to present to the town of Vail ASAP so we
can have signage before the end of June. Please contact me so we can discuss.

TOWN OF VAIL
The 2 proposed awnings will be composed of "Chestnut" Dibond (Aluminum with
rubber core) and "Bisque" i/2" acrylic lettering. The awnings will project from the
exterior of the building but will be flush with the green overhangs (fitting within the
half circles). We understand that balance may be an issue and we are prepared to do a
third blank awning above the northwest window on Vail Road, if the need be. One sign
will read "KW Luxury Homes by Keller Williams" and the second will read "Keller
Williams Mountain Properties".
Included:
i) HOA approval letter via email from the Gateway Board of Directors.
2) Signed application by Keller Williams Mountain Properties Owners.
3) Proposed Sign Program for the Vail Gateway Plaza.
