It has been brought to the attention of the Town of Vail Community Development Department that
your ground water well currently serving the single family dwelling at 2752 S. Frontage Road is
also intended to serve the duplex under construction at 2754 S. Frontage Road, Town of Vail.
The expanded use from one (1) dwelling unit to three (3) dwelling units requires the approval of
the State of Colorado Water Resources Engineer at the Colorado Division of Water Resources.
The Town of Vail Building Department requires an approved water system before final approval
and certificate of occupancy can be granted to the duplex under construction at 2754 S. Frontage
Road, Town of Vail.

Enclosed for your review are the provisions of article 37-92-602. Exemptions -presumptions -
legislative declaration and the Unregistered Exempt Well in the Guide to Well Permits, Water
Rights, and Water Administration.
