General Information:
All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. Please
refer to the submittal requirements for the particular approva( that is requester,. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all requlred information is received by the Community Development Department_ The
project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and /or the Planning and Environmental Commission.

TOWN OF VAIL
The purpose of this letter is to convey the approval of the Vail Golfcourse Townhomes, Phase Il,
for the Owner of Unit 22 to install a deck and a door similar to the installation of the door on
other Units per the attached drawings. This approval is contingent upon the following:
1. Approval is granted based on the location of Unit 22, prior approvals of similar doors and
decks and the minimal impact this change will have upon the neighbors and residents of this
area of the Association.
2. No specific or applied approval is granted for any special or expanded right as to egress,
ingress or use of the Association ground owned in common by its members.
Any and all costs including, but not limited to, the cost of the work and cleaning up during or
after the work shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. In addition,
any and all costs required to return any disturbed landscaping or irrigation system to their
existing state shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. If, during the
course of construction, any trees are damaged or removed, Owner shall pay the Association
for replacement of said trees at locations to be determined solely by the Association.
4. Owner and all future Owners of Unit 22 shall bear the costs of maintaining the deck and
door. The redwood decking shall be sealed with a natural, that is, colorless, wood sealant.
All future maintenance which may include replacement of wooden members, footers and
sealing of deck as well as trim framing for the door, the door itself and painting of these

elements shall be done by the Association, at its sole discretion, and all related expenses shall
be charged to the Applicant.
5. Any exterior lighting fixture shall be selected by the Association.

6. All rights and obligations between the Applicant and the Association, as set out in the
Condominium Declaration and other governing documents with respect to this approval and
the work contemplated thereby, remain in full force and effect.
This Approval may be recorded, by the Association, at the expense of Applicant, in the Real
Property Records of Eagle County.
