Minor Exterior Alterations
General Information:
This application is required for all proposals involving minor changes to buildings and site improvements, such as re-
roofing, painting, window additions, landscaping, fences, retaining walls, etc. Applicable Vail Town Code sections can be
reviewed on-line at www.vailgov.com under Vail Information -Town Code On-line. All projects requiring design review
must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design Review cannot be
accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as outlined in the submittal
requirements. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and
construction commences.
Fee: $250 for Multi-Family/Commercial
$20 for Single Family/Duplex

The purpose of this letter is to convey the approval of the Vail Golfcourse Townhomes, Phase
III, for the Owner of Unit 60 to install a deck and a door as per the attached drawings. This
approval is contingent upon the following:
1. Approval is granted based on the location of Unit 60, prior approvals of similar deck.
2. No specific or applied approval is granted for any special or expanded right as to egress,
ingress or use of the Association ground owned in common by its members (the area remains
common area).
3. Any and all costs including, but not limited to, the cost of the work and cleaning up during or
after the work shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. In addition,
any and all costs required to return any disturbed landscaping or irrigation system to their
existing state shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. If, during the
course of construction, any trees are damaged or removed, Owner shall pay the Association
for replacement of said trees at locations to be determined solely by the Association.
4. Any exterior lighting fixture shall be selected by the Association and paid for by the Owner
of 60.

5. All rights and obligations between the Applicant and the Association, as set out in the
Condominium Declaration and other governing documents with respect to this approval and
the work contemplated thereby, remain in full force and effect.
