Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as

Subject: email on fence approval
Hi John,
Here is the email about the fence on the east property line. Because this has been a little bit
of an issue between the property owners, I think it would be good to get the approval in
writing. I think we will only need a 30 inch high fence ( max 36 inch posts) and it will only
extend about 25 feet along the east property line and not enter either of the set backs. Also
as I have explained, because we didn't know where the property line was located we have
had this encroachment problem. Also the area has very natural landscaping with large rocks,
grass, and trees so the fence should fit right and not be an eye sore. Hopefully the approval
will last a year or so as the winter might preclude the installation before the ground freezes.
I used this email address from a previous email that you sent me and I noticed that it is
different than the one I had in my address book. Would you send back a quick email letting
me know that you have received this email and I will change my address book for future
correspondence.

Subj: northest fence permit
Hi John,
One last request. We would like to seek approval from the Town of vail for a low( 2 ft.
high) split rail fence along the northest boundary of our property going approximately
from the point on the property line starting at a point on the property line about at
northeast corner of the house extending along the property line and ending at the
point where the property line intersects the south boundary of the right of way strip
that is owned by the village of vail. The property line as been agreed to by the parties
based on the recent line marked by the surveyor from Gore Range.
Everything else seems to be proceeding nicely and Mike is doing a fantastic job
working to get things finished up. We will see how things go when we call for the CO
inspection in the next week or so.

Per my voicemail today we do need a sign-off from the Valenti's prior to your application moving forward and being placed
on an agenda. At this point your application is not complete. As stated previously the Town regulations do highly
discourage fences.
This project has been assigned to Bill Gibson, so please provide him with the joint property owner sign-off. In order to be
scheduled on the December 16th DRB agenda this information needs to be provided prior the close of business on
December 7.
