Consulting Structural Engineers December 1, 2005 Rob Rouland/Rouland Creations Re: Kronenberg Residence Remodel To whom it may concern: This letter concerns various framing questions raised by the building department. 1) Stair framing was revised in the field in order to obtain necessary head heights Attached is sketch number 2 showing these changes. 2) A skylight option was framed into the roof with 16"microlam headers and 3 - 16" microlam trimmers. Attached are sheets 1 and three showing the required framing and bolting or nailing of the microlams. 3) Three header sizes are shown on sketch number 1. Two are shown for the 12" bay window at the top right, and one for the living room header. Attached are sketch number 1,2 and 3 showing these details. These are being faxed to you with this letter, stamped originals will be mailed. Please contact me if there are questions concerning this letter.
