Dear Mike:
At the reguest of Jim K1ein, the Com:nunity Development
Department staff reviewed the reguest for variance that has
been submitted to Eagle County for Lot 7, Block 7, Vail
Intermountain Subdivision. ft is my understanding that Jiur is
requesting relief of approxirnately 9 feet from the reguired
Eagle County setback of 25 feet, leaving the building at 16 feet from property Line. rollowing a site visit, we feel that
as a staff we would support this request for a variance,granted the degree of slope and the rock outcroppings that present a significant hardship to developrnent on this site.
