The smallest of Roberts'nine different Step-Lite systems is the A-Series. This is also the easlest system to conceal and the most flexible to use. The A-series Step-Lite is perfect for handrail applications due to its small size. For surface mounted or recessed applications, the A-Series is l/2" wide by 7116" deep, and may be ured indooB or outdoors with either Sm or EB Lite fixtures and with Superflex tubing. One motor opens the gate and the other one closes it, unlike any other operator in the world. Because of this feature the operator can function in less than ideal conditions, such as desert environmenls, and not overheat the motors. The CSW- 2OO-UL-DM'" is specified for use at heavily accessed high tratfic areas such as multiple family communities with 250 or more homes in high ambient temperature applications. The CSW-200-UL-" series are prolected by a 114" thick, unbreakable polyethylene plastic cover for long lifo and lasting protoction. Th€se operators have proven to be one of the most reliable swing gale operators on the market for over a decade. Electraca! REVERSING SENSOR Th6 digital current sensor continuously monitors the motor current. lt can be s6t tor both the opening and closing cycles. lf th€ gat6 is closing and hits a vehicl€, lhe sensor detects the increased load on the motor and reverses. lf the gate is opening and hits a vehicle, il slops and reverses 4 to 6 inches. The sensor is smart enough to operate on off-level installations and not to react to wind r€sistance. MASTEMSLAVE SYSTEM This unlque system allows precise, synchronized movement and communication between two gat€ operators using 3 wire RS-485 bi-directional technology. With the Omnioontrol board, Mastor/Slave conversion is now easier than ev€r. NON.SCISSOR ACTION ARM Most swing gate operator arms will cross and produce a dangerous "scissof action while opening the gate to a go"op€ning, as shown in picture "A"- We designed our CSW-2OO* operator arms lo not cross, eliminating the scissor action as shown in picture "8". This advanced electronic control board now otfers integrated functions to make all input and outputs of the gale operator easy to access. lt offers solid state motor control, spike suppr€ssors, safety alarm and many other unique features. The new Omnioontrol'" board assures the latest requirements and most advanced technology in th€ industry, keeping all Elite commercial operators in a class by lhemselves. PLUG-IN LOOP DETECTORS These high quality loop detectors are for use with the Elite Omni Board. The electronics are manulactured exclusively for Elite by Reno A&E, a respected name in loop detection technology. With Elite's proven design and integration technology, these component detectors will make installation and mainlenance ot loop detection systems simple. They are available for use with Exit Loops and Safety Loops. STANDARD LIGHTNING PROTECTION Elite undertook the proiect ot protecting the Elite commercial gate operators against lightning strike with a level of protection up to a 50 foot radius of near lightning strike. The result of this project is a terminal block that has been specitically designed to prevent damage to the OmniBoard caused by lightning strike. The ability 1o handl€ high power and the fast response capability is accomplished by the us€ of a two-stage, hybrid network of surge suppressors integrated in the terminal block. This network ot surgo suppressors will protect a total of 1l lines lor the gate operators (3 lines for the master/slave communication, and I lines lor the various input commands), The 110 volt power line protection on the OmniBoard and the Plug-ln Loop Detectors is built into the OmniBoard itself.
