Dear Ms. Perkins and Ms. Rider:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s): You have repainted your residence without Design Review
Board(DRB) approval.
While on site visits the DRB discovered that the repainting of this residence had already
begun despite not having Design Review Approval. You were scheduled for the May 19,
2004 DRB meeting and your application was denied at that meeting.
We are asking that submit a Design Review application for approval of a color change if
you still wish to change from the original color. You must resubmit your application no
later than noon on Monday, May 24, 2004 so that you can be on the agenda for the June
16, 2004 meeting.
You are required to have the approved repaint done within 14 days of the June 16, 2004
meeting. That will give you until June 30, 2004 to complete the repaint. Failure to
comply will result in a summons being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help
assure that Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we
