Dear Sirs:
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my letter to you regarding the right-of-way
area and the parking area created within it. We appreciate your removing the sign,
cinders and the rock borders. I am enclosing a copy of your letter and will address each
of the questions in the same order as they are listed.
1. The Town of Vail does not intend to permit this land to be available for parking.
2. The Town of Vail will not consider a paved asphalt parking area in our right-of-
way.
3. You may install a mixture of native grasses, rock and wild flowers.
4. The Town of Vail will be responsible for the upkeep of this area once the
vegetation has grown to our satisfaction.
5. The Town of Vail will enforce the municipal regulations regarding parking.
6. You may delay adding topsoil and seeding work until fall. The work must be
completed no later than October 15, 2002.
7. The land in question belongs to the Town of Vail.
