Dear Mr. Almas:
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak with me last week. The purpose of this letter is to outline what we discussed and agreed to. Per our discussion, you have
agreed to the following:
Your store will no longer put out the daily special board in violation of the Town Code.
You will remove all window signs in excess of the 15% coverage maximum and also limit the number of window signs to a total of two.
You will remove all other unapproved signs at this location (other than the ones discussed below).
Because you are out of the state, for good reason, the Town of Vail agrees to allow the two (2) business I.D. signs to remain until you and I can get together in April, 2003 to determine
which one(s) have been approved. It will then be determined if any additional signs need to be removed or what opportunities you may have to improve the signage at this location.
Again, thank you for getting back with me in a timely manner. It is our goal to work with the merchants of our community towards compliance rather than force compliance through the
legal channels.
Please call me as soon as you return to Vail in April so that we may discuss these issues.
