Re: Unapproved Sign
Dear Mr. Joyce:
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak with George Ruther
regarding the sign issues outstanding at Joe's Famous Deli. The purpose of this letter is
to summarize the outcome of the meeting.
1. You may keep the current Business Identification Sign for 30 days (from the July
22 meeting date).
2. All other exterior signs must be removed immediately.
3. Staff will determine whether the existing unapproved sign may stay or must be
removed at the end of the 30 day period(August 21, 2002).
As you are aware, the Town of Vail is currently proposing some changes to our existing
sign codes. At this time we are not sure if any proposed changes would affect your
signage so we are willing to grant this 30 day extension for your unapproved sign(s).
