Re: Illegal signage
Dear Mr. Wheelock:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s): You have several illegal, unapproved signs at this
location.
1. Your menu box located near the east entrance on the third level has not
been approved.
2. The illuminated sign with the name of the business/open is illegal and
must be removed.
3. The La Cantina sign, also located in the window of the east entrance, has
not been approved.
We are asking that you remove the above-mentioned signs or submit a complete sign
application within 15 calendar days from receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will
result in a summons being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help
assure that Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we
