Dear Mr. Grant:
Thank you for taking the time last week to speak to me regarding your additional signage. At that time I advised you that I would speak with the Planning Staff to determine if there
was any legal way to display the sign currently displayed on the easel in front of your business.
Last year, the Town of Vail agreed to let you place that sign in front of your business with the agreement that it would be removed, forever, at the end of the ski season. We were in
the process of developing and writing a new sign code so we gave you permission to keep the sign at that time. You agreed to those terms.
After reviewing the current sign code, it has been determined that this sign cannot be approved and must be removed upon receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result in a summons
being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help assure that Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we all strive.
